I love the traditional wind-up metronomes but many of them from Wittner are well over $100.00 I was thinking of looking at other brands but I don't know much about the quality. Wittner has been making metronomes in Germany for more then 100 years and my teacher swears by them so I purchased this one and I'm very happy I did because it sounds, looks, feels and winds like a well made metronome.
