PSZShop.com has humble roots in northern New England, as a family run piano store which opened 30 years ago. In 1977, Nick and Tony Arcidy, two brothers hailing from the Italian North End of Boston, traveled 30 miles north to Londonderry NH in order to try their hands in the risky yet rewarding business of selling pianos. It was there that Londonderry Piano, the company still thriving today as one of the top piano dealers in New England, was established.
In 1982, a man named John Duffy came into ownership of Londonderry Piano as the Arcidys decided to cut back and reserve some time for other interest. In keeping the family run tradition of Nick and Tony, John, his wife Flora, as well as their children Anthony and Amy collectively maintain and manage their 2 current store locations in Portsmouth and Salem NH. By keeping this tradition of family at the heart of the business, the Duffys have created a level of trust between salesman and consumer that is unmatched in the industry. It is this trust and commitment to the customer provided in these stores that have made the Duffys so successful.
Moving forward into the 21st century, Anthony Duffy has taken this trust and reliability to the next level by creating PSZShop.com, an online store dedicated to provide the piano owner, lover, and enthusiast with a dependable and trustworthy outlet to purchase piano accessories, whether it be a new duet artist bench for the children to play a new piece together, or a humidifier to help save a piano from succumbing to the elements.
